Overview

Pet Sitters San Antonio is a directory of pet-sitting businesses in the San Antonio area. This is a static website, which means there’s no server, no database, and no software running behind the pages you see. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and collects no personal information from anyone who simply visits and browses.

There’s no login, no user account, and no database storing visitor information, so there’s nothing here that could be exposed if the site were ever compromised. The only way anyone shares information with this site is by choosing to send an email, described below.

If You Email Us

This site doesn’t have a contact form. The only way to reach the operator is by sending an email to [email protected] from your own email account. When you do, your message and the email address you sent it from arrive as a normal email. That information is used only to respond to what you asked, whether that’s a general question, a correction request, or a request to add or remove a listing. It isn’t sold, rented, or shared with any business in the directory, and it’s kept only as long as needed to handle your message before it’s deleted.

If your email includes details about a pet, a household, or a booking with one of the businesses listed here, that’s between you and that business. This site only sees what you choose to put in an email addressed to it, and nothing else.

No Cookies, No Analytics, No Tracking

This site runs no analytics software of any kind, sets no cookies, and doesn’t track visitors in the background. There’s no advertising network here and no ad-targeting. No third-party scripts load on any page, and no data about your visit is sent to Google, Meta, or any other company. Nothing about how you use this site is recorded, measured, or shared.

If that ever changes, meaning analytics or cookies get added down the road, this policy will be updated first so it accurately describes the change before it goes live, not after.

Every business listed in this directory has its own website, and in some cases its own social media presence, and this site links to those where available. Once you click through, you’re on that business’s site, and their privacy practices, not this one’s, apply. Read their policy directly before sharing any information with them.

The same goes for the public sources used to compile the listings in the first place, including each business’s Google listing and other public directories consulted while building this list.

Correcting or Removing a Listing

If you’re a business owner, or someone acting on their behalf, and you believe a listing is inaccurate, outdated, or shouldn’t be here, email [email protected] or use the Contact page to ask for a correction or removal. This directory is compiled from public sources, so a correction directly from the business itself is usually the fastest way to get a listing fixed. There’s no account or login needed to make this request, and no fee either way.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if how the site operates changes, most notably if analytics, cookies, or any other tracking is ever added. The version in effect is the one on this page as of the date above.
